Corrections & Updates Policy

Accuracy matters. If we discover an error on a tool page or article, we correct it promptly and transparently.

Our Process

  • Minor corrections (typos, formatting, broken links) → updated without a public note.
  • Substantive corrections (methodology, data handling, output accuracy, or feature behaviour) → updated with a visible note at the bottom of the page, including what changed and why.
  • User reports → readers can report issues via our Contact Us form. We review all submissions and act on verified errors.

Tool Refresh Cycle

Because browsers, file formats, and standards evolve, we review and update key tools at least once per quarter or whenever a major change occurs (e.g., API updates, format revisions, security or privacy improvements). Significant updates are timestamped, and where relevant, we add a short changelog note at the bottom of the page.
